Watercolor and Gauche Gallery
Learning to use guache during this time really allowed me to push my watercolors further than ever before. Not
only was I now able to go back and rework the painting, the use of opaques and their flexibility in guache allowed
me to pile paint and build it up. Watercolor alone is unforgiving. Once you lay it down it is permanent. What is most
incredible is that even though guache dries like water color, a wet brush will blend the paint like it was just applied.
