The Fall of Icarus
This airbrush work is of the Mythological tale of
Icarus and his father Daedalus. Confined to an
isle by Zeus for his malcontent, Daedalus and his
son Icarus were to spend the rest of their lives in
this prison tower. As times passes birds leave
feathers on the tower and Daedalus fashions
wings with these feathers held together by wax
and warns his son not to fly too close to the sun.
Unable to control his excitement Icarus flies too
close to the sun and falls to his death.
